Somalian government could start opening up the doors to development through;

 Creating jobs for Somali youth should be one of the most significant priorities in fighting unemployment, countering extremism, and attaining economic stability. Since over 70% of Somalia's population are under 30 years old, empowering the youth would be an economic necessity and a way to ensure peace and prosperity.

Somalian government could start opening up the doors to development through;

1.Invest in Education and Skills Training

Education needs to be based in the requirements of the market. This will involve vocational programs like agriculture, fisheries, engineering, and construction, all of which would provide the youngsters with faculties for real jobs. Partnerships with NGOs and private enterprises can boost the initiative.

2.Support Small Businesses and Start-ups

Considering that it is the youth that have the greatest entrepreneurial potential, they are often unable to attain financial assistance and mentors. Microfinance programs must be initiated, along with streamlined business registration processes. A government-backed fund could encourage start-ups, providing seed capital for IT- and renewable energy-based ideas.

3.Cheering key economic sectors

Somalia's economy is very much an agriculture, fisheries, and livestock economy. The government will create thousands of jobs by modernizing these sectors as well as giving tools and training and access to markets. Infrastructure development projects like building ports, roads, and markets also generate employment while enhancing trade.

4.Leverage Technology and Innovation

The digital economy is somewhere very promising to go. Strong government investment for internet access and technology hubs can create jobs in IT, E-commerce and digital services. This would build a world-competitive force instead of youth pushing them into these fields.

5.Engage the Diaspora

The Somali Diaspora can play an instrumental role in youth investment initiatives and businesses. Their involvement can trigger the scale of job opportunity creation back home, thus making it a win-win situation for everyone involved.

Investing in youth is investing in the future of Somalia. In so doing, the government can enable future generations to be fruitful and realize their dreams and aspirations
